Note: Data collected will be stored only if it is of legitimate use in day to day operations in the course of doing business with you.
Note: Customer data collected on our website is also mirrored on our development website to allow us to continue to develop the website for the benefit of our customers. This development website data is updated on a monthly basis and security is maintained to only allow access to web developers. These 3rd party processors have all confirmed their compliance with GDPR regulations.
USE OF CREDIT REFERENCE AGENCY INFORMATION AND SHARING OF CREDIT INFORMATION
In the interests of responsible lending and for security purposes we carry out searches with credit reference agencies when you register with Feridax and further searches may be carried out before deciding whether to accept orders and/or grant further credit. The agencies record these searches. We may also share information about your business and the conduct of your account with credit reference agencies, other lenders and relevant third-parties.
Information about your business will be used to verify your identity and for the credit assessment of your business.
We may also use your information for payment recovery or fraud and debt tracing. We will pass on details of defaulting accounts to debt collection agencies.

WHO DOES FERIDAX DISCLOSE THE INFORMATION IT COLLECTS TO?
We use information about you for purposes other than the provision of a website shopping facility. As a result, we may disclose your information to:
- Third-party processors in order to fulfil your order or process your data on our behalf.
- Legal and debt recovery representatives for debt collection and debtor tracing purposes.
We use company contact dealers on our brand websites to create a ‘Dealer Locator’ – the purpose of which is to benefit our customers to promote to the public where they can buy their favourite brands. The use of this data is covered by our terms and conditions for holding a Feridax account, however if you do not wish to be included in the Dealer Locator, please update your County in the Address Book section of the website to ‘DO NOT DISPLAY’. Alternatively, please send a request to customerservice@feridax.com.
Feridax will not share your information with outside (non-affiliated) companies for marketing purposes without prior consent. Please be aware that if we are requested by the police or any other regulatory or Government authority investigating suspected illegal activities, to provide your information and/or use your information, we are entitled to do so without prior notification under our legal obligations.
Note: The only data that is sent outside of the EEA (European Economic Area) is in the form of cookies for activities such as estimating bandwidth on pages with YouTube videos or estimating statistics of videos watched. (Sent to: USA (ShareThis.com, Google)).

KEEPING IN TOUCH WITH YOU
As part of our legitimate interest in conducting business with you, we want to keep you up to date with information about new ranges, special offers and improvements to this site. All customers with online accounts are automatically subscribed to our regular newsletter facility.
From time to time, we may need to notify customers of disruptions or changes to the services that we provide and as such we maintain a list of ‘Superuser’ contacts from which you cannot be unsubscribed unless your account is deleted.
If you decide you do not want us to contact you with marketing materials, you can update your preferences at any time by going to the My Accounts section of the website and unsubscribing.
YOUR RIGHTS UNDER THE GENERAL DATA PROTECTION REGULATION/DATA PROTECTION ACT 2018

Please send any Subject Access Requests to dataprotection@feridax.com, quoting “Security and Privacy Enquiry”. Any user with ‘Dealer’ level access is able make their own data changes at any time.
Note: In certain circumstances, you, as a data subject, may not be entitled to require Feridax to erase personal data, due to legal obligations. However, you are entitled to limit (restrict) the purposes for which your data can be processed.
Subject Access Requests are free of charge. However, as per the GDPR/DPA 2018, in the event of repetitive or excessive data requests there may be an applicable fee. Upon receipt of a Subject Access Request and provided we can validate the authenticity of the request; it will be processed within one month.
